Alfredo "Freddie" Cotugno 91, of Edison entered into eternal rest, April 11, 2017 at JFK Hartwyck at Edison Estates.  He was born in Newark and has resided in Edison for 58 years.

Alfredo was employed by the Edison Board of Education at JP Stevens High School for 29 years before retiring in 2007. He had previously owned Record Delivery Service in Edison for 30 years.

He was a charter member of PBO Elks lodge #2487 and a 30 year member of the Edison Police Reserves.

Alfredo was predeceased by his Son Frederick Cotugno.  He is survived by his wife Ersilia Dinardo Cotugno, his son Charles Cotugno of Texas, his daughter Tammi Kolbenheyer of Florida, 3 step children; Michael Reddavide, Gene Reddavide, and Gerald Reddavide, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday April 17, 2017, from 7-9 pm, with a service at 8:30 pm. At the Flynn and son Funeral Home 23 ford Avenue, Fords.
