Alex Raposo, age 28, suddenly passed away on January 23, 2026. He was born on August 9, 1997, in Edison, NJ. Alex was a lifelong resident of Fords. He worked as a carpenter for the Carpenter's Local 254 Union.

Alex is survived by loving Mom, Fatima Raposo and Dad, Raymond Crawford; his sister along with her husband, Stacy and Jorge Abragao; his nieces and nephew, Joseph, Audrey, and Alice; his grandmother, Luella Pittman; and his aunt, Juliette Irie; his aunt and uncle Leonor and Antonio Damasio

Visitation will take place between the hours of 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Alex's memory may be made out to the American Heart Association .
