Alex "Al" Boretski, 86, of Edison, passed away on October 26, 2017, at J.F.K. Hospital in Edison.  Born in Lattimer, PA, on March 23, 1931, to Metro and Anna Boretski, he had resided in Edison for more than 40 years.  He was employed by Suburban Transit in Plainfield as a Bus Driver for 25 years before leaving the company to join the staff of J.A.B. Automotive in Edison where he spent 25 years on staff.  Al loved karaoke night at the Liberty Tavern and horse racing at Monmouth Park.

He was predeceased by his sister, Martha Boretski, and his brothers, John and Metro Boretski.

Al leaves behind to cherish his memory his sisters: Mary Nocciolo of Piscataway, Ella Malesky and Anne Woodring, both of PA; many nieces and nephews; and a host friends and acquaintances who were fortunate enough to know him and his wonderful sense of humor.
