Albert Neri, 96, of Matawan, formerly of Newark, Irvington and Sayreville, died on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at the Madison Center Nursing Home in Matawan.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II.
He was a retired auto paint sprayer after many years with Model Auto Paint Co. in Maplewood.
He was predeceased by his wife, Doris Neri (2003).
He is survived by his three children, Frank Neri, Carolyn A. Jacik and her husband, Louis and Susan J. Anzano and her husband, Joseph Anzano Jr., his three grandchildren, 1st Sgt. Joseph Anzano, III and his wife, Tiffany, Stacey and her husband, Robert and Judith Jacik, six great grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, IV, Dominic, Nicole, Carson, and Megan.
Funeral services will be on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. from the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church Fords. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Visitation will be on Friday morning from 9 am to 10 am.
