Obituary

Albert Hudanish, 82, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2018. He was born on November 22, 1935 in Perth Amboy. Albert was the Regional Director for the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training for the U.S. Department of Labor in New York City. He graduated Perth Amboy High School, Class of 1954, and attended Seton Hall University. He proudly served in the Marines. He loved Atlantic City and his friends at the Diamond Club.

Albert was predeceased by his wife, Eileen Hudanish, in 2013; a son, Paul Albert Hudanish, in 1976; three brothers, Thomas, Joseph and James Hudanish; and two sisters, Dorothy Simon and Eleanor Hudanish.

He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Kowalski, and her husband Stan, of Toms River, and Lisa Uricks, and her husband Gerry, of Howell; four grandchildren: Caitlin, Kevin, Ryan, and Hillary; a great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Marie "his sunshine"; four step-grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Nolan, and Ryan; and a sister, Barbara Houghton, of Sewaren.

Visitation will be Monday 3-7 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services will be Tuesday 10 am in the Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meridian Hospice or the Wounded Warrior Project.
