Aladino Lopez, 89, of Fords, passed away at home on October 30, 2014. He was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on September 19, 1925. He has resided in Fords for many years, after moving from South Amboy. Aladino was a Supervisor for the United States Postal Service, working at the Church St. Station in NYC. He is a Veteran of the US Army.

Aladino is survived by his wife, of 66 years, Ana Tilde Lopez of Fords; a daughter, Ana Lopez of Fords; two sons, Aladino Lopez Jr. and his wife Karen of Valley Stream, NY and Angel Lopez and his wife, Francisca of Statan Island, NY; five grandchildren, Melissa, Aladino III, Jessica, Iveliss and Vanessa; five great-grandchildren, Michael, Jake, Sebastian, Camila, Cecelia, Aladino IV and Franco.
He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Joseph Lopez.
Visitation will be Friday 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Saturday 9:30 am at the funeral home, followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy in Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Entombment will be in Alpine Cemetery.
