Aisha M. Darway, 56, of Edison, passed suddenly on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at the JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Liberia, West Africa, she had resided in Edison for the last 20 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eva and John Morris.
Aisha leaves behind her beloved husband of 31 years, James H. Darway, Sr.; her two daughters, Nanuh Darway of Liberia, West Africa and Raquel Darway at home; her five sons: Chandler and Derrick Thomas of MD; James Darway, Jr. and his wife, Danielle and Trent Darway and his girlfriend, Kim, all of Somerset; and Kevin Darway of Edison; her seven grandchildren: Chandler Thomas, Jr., Ryder Darway, Nicholas, Moses, James III, Adrianna and Aisha; her 2 sisters, Trocon Cooper Williams and her husband, Josephus, and Susie Morris; her uncle, Wesley Pennoh; her 3 nieces: Mechenn Pennoh, Alimatu and Aisha; her nephew, Mario; and her dear and faithful pet Yorkie, "Jaycee."
Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 on Friday, February 26, 2016, from 5-9 PM. Funeral Services will be at 10 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
