Aida E. Serrano, affectionately known as Tita, entered into eternal rest on January 28, 2019 at the age of 86. Tita was born in Arecibo, P.R. In 1932, lived in Perth Amboy for over 50 years, and passed away in Florida.

Tita was predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Manuel de Jesus Serrano, daughter Myrna Serrano, mother Portalatina Adames , father Ramon Valentin, sister Felipe Ana Delia Valentin, brothers Francisco and Juan Valentin. She is survived by her daughters Mabel Serrano and Maria Elena Polera, son-in-law Augustus Polera, grandchildren Eugenio Manuel Mulero, Christopher Augustus, Gabriela Marie and Jonathan Peter Polera, her brothers Tito and Jaime Valentin her sisters-in-law Carmen Montalvo and Gloria Serrano, and many nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 1st at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ from 5-9 pm. On Saturday, we will depart from Flynn and Son Funeral Home at 9 am am for a funeral mass at 9:30 am at La Asunción Church, 697 Cortlandt St., Perth Amboy, followed by internment at Alpine Cemetery.
