Aida E. Jordan, 85, of Perth Amboy, passed away on October 20, 2024, at Alameda Care Center in Perth Amboy. She was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on November 3,1938. Aida was retired, having worked for Individualized Shirts in Perth Amboy. She was a communicant of La Asuncion Church where she was a member of the choir. Aida loved to spend time with her family.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Michael; a great-grandson, Maverick; a brother, Antonio Morales, and a sister, Blanca Morales.

Aida is survived by two sons, Melvin Jordan, of Rahway, and Nelson Jordan, and his wife Myraida, of Piscataway; a daughter, Nydia Nagy, and her husband, Michael, of Browns Mills; two granddaughters, Essence and Melinda; and two great-grandchildren, Hendrix and Genesis.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 26, 2024 ,1-4 pm, at the Flynn and Som Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 3:30 pm in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
