Agnes C. Guinane, 87, of Metuchen, died Wednesday March 27, 2013, at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born March 26, 1926, in New York City, she resided in Metuchen for 61 years. Agnes was a homemaker and served as President of Edgar School PTA, President of Metuchen PTA, President of Ladies Auxiliary St. Francis Council #3272 K of C and Communicant of St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen.

She was predeceased by her husband, John P. Guinane, and son-in-law, Robert J. Markgraf. Surviving are daughters Joann Morin and husband Roger, Virginia Markgraf; sons Francis Guinane, James Guinane and wife Nancy Neuman, and Joseph Guinane and wife Margaret. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will begin Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 9:45AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15AM at St. Francis Cathedral. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM on Monday, April 1, 2013, at the funeral home.
