Adela A. Batista, 63, died on April 10, 2012, at Raritan Bay Medical Center. Born in La Loma de Coco/Baiota, Dominican Republic, on December 12, 1948, she resided in Perth Amboy since 1969. She worked for US Can in North Brunswick, retiring 10 years ago. Adela was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima.

She is survived by her sons: Christian Genao and his wife, Bonnie Godoy; Manuel Genao; Aureliano Genao, Jr. and his wife Damaris; and her daughter, Rosanna Genao, all of Perth Amboy; nine grandchildren: Destinee, Desiraé, Alysia, Darion, Julian, Adrian, Jazmin, Seryna, and Deanna; three sisters: Josefina Hernandez, Dulce Maria Diaz, Altagracia Batista, all of Perth Amboy; and three brothers: Augustine Batista of Queens, and Alberto Batista and Marino Batista of Perth Amboy.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 16, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery.
