Julia Mallett

Julia Mallett, age 83 of Port Orange, FL, entered into eternal rest on Monday at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL. She was born in Perth Amboy and resided in Perth Amboy and Sayreville before moving to Port Orange in 2003.

Julia was a clerk at the City of Perth Amboy City Clerk’s Office, retiring after 25 years of service. She was a former communicant and member of the Rosary Society at St. Mary’s RC Church in Perth Amboy, a parishioner of Our Lady of Hope RC Church in Port Orange, FL and a member of the Sociable Seniors and the Council of Catholic Women. Julia enjoyed spending time with friends and family, walking on the beach and playing cards.

She was predeceased by her husband, Guy Patrick Mallett who died in 1976 and her parents, Michael and Mary Brilinski Kuckir.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Ellice and Ron Kushner, her son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Page Mallett and her brother and sister-in-law, John and Marie Kutzkir. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole, Ronnie, Stephen, Katie and Becky and many nieces and nephews.
