Joseph M. Harrigan, age 58, died on Monday at his home in Edison. He was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Edison for the past 35 years. Joe graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1967 and from Rutgers University with a BS Degree. He was a member of St. Mary RC Church, Perth Amboy and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #299, Perth Amboy. For last 35 years he had worked as a Disbursement Control Officer at Rutgers University in Piscataway. Joe will always be remembered as a true friend, always there when you needed him, kind, gentle, sincere and with a great sense of humor. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Harrigan Surviving are his aunts, Geraldine P. Kenny of Perth Amboy and Marie Liston of Brick, his uncle, Andrew J. Haborak of Perth Amboy and twenty-three cousins.
