Katherine Guarnieri, age 101, died on Sunday at her home in Edison. She was born in Rocky Hill, NJ and had resided in Perth Amboy before moving to Edison 30 years ago. Katherine was a graduate of the NJ State Normal School in Trenton and was a communicant of St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen. Her husband Julius Guarnieri died in 1994. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Jeanne Guarnieri and Julius and Lynn Guarnieri, both of Metuchen, her grandchildren, David, Ian, Andrea and Julie, her great grandchildren, Raymond, Tyler, Kevin, Sean, Isabel, Tristan, Aidan, Daniel and Jane and her brother, Donald Scasserra of Rocky Hill.
