Julius O. Fessel

Julius O. Fessel, age 90 of Brick, died on Monday at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Fords and had resided in Colonia before moving to Brick 10 years ago.

Julius was a 68 year member of the I B E W Locals 358 in Perth Amboy and 456 in New Brunswick retiring from active service in 1980. He was a former communicant of our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horse racing and trips to Atlantic City. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII.

He was predeceased by his wife, Louise H. Schnebbe Fessel who died in 1992 and his sister, Eleanor.

Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, Frederick G. and Dolores Fessel of Middletown, Ernest C. and Janet Fessel of East Brunswick and Raymond F. and Jeanne Fessel of Flemington, his daughter, Dorothy Mulherin of Fords and his 8 grandchildren, Jeanne Mulherin, Amy Munly, Maureen Jasper, Kristina, Daniel, Heather, Lindsey and Carley Fessel. Also surviving are his sister, Olga Finnell of Spokane, WA and his dear friend, Catherine Clark.
