Jake Douglas Chonka, age 5 months of Edison, died on Friday at The Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was born in St Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick to his parents, Lynne Volpe Chonka, an Elementary School teacher at the Washington School in Edison and Joseph Chonka of the Edison Township Police Department. He is also survived by his twin sister, Katelyn Elizabeth, his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Stephanie Volpe of Fords and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Marlene Chonka of Edison, and his maternal great grandparents, Josephine Ganz and Julia Volpe both of Wayne.
