Assunta “Sue” Chiarella, age 91, died on Thursday at her home in Woodbridge. She was born and resided in Perth Amboy until moving to Woodbridge 6 years ago. Mrs. Chiarella was a Receptionist for Dr. Leo Stess in Perth Amboy for 35 years before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Most Holy Rosary RC Church in Hopelawn and a member of the Holy Rosary Seniors Club. She was the Past President of BPW (Business Professional Women) of Woodbridge. She was predeceased by her son, Eugene Chiarella who past away at an early age. Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Joseph Chiarella, her son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Linda Chiarella of Brick and her daughter, Joanne Tueber of Woodbridge, her four grandchildren, Leigh Tueber, Angela Weeks, Cynthia Rickards and Joseph Chiarella and her five great grandchildren, Mason, Adam, Gavin, Emily and Abigail.
