Flynn Charities Program

If you choose to remember someone whose funeral arrangements were handled by Flynn and Son Funeral Homes by making a donation to a tax exempt charitable organization through Flynn and Son Funeral Homes, we will make an additional contribution in memory of your loved one. By doing this, the Flynn Charities Program keeps precious memories alive.

How it works
When donations are made to a tax exempt charitable organization through the Flynn Charities Program, the family of the deceased person is notified of each donor and each donor is sent a card of acknowledgment on behalf of the family. All contributions are sent to the designated charity with an additional contribution from Flynn and Son Funeral Homes in memory of the deceased person. We also provide the charity with a list of all persons who have made donations in memory of the deceased. We do not charge anything for providing this service.

In addition to the charitable contributions in memory of specific persons, at the end of each year Flynn and Son Funeral Homes will make a contribution to the charity to which the greatest amount of contributions have been made during the past calendar year. This gift will match the amount of the gifts made during the year to that charity, up to a maximum of $5,000.00.

What to do
To give a donation through the Charity Program your check should be made payable to the charity of choice with the name of the person for whom you are making the donation included with the check. It can then be mailed to the funeral home where it will be sent to the charity with a donation from Flynn and Son Funeral Homes.

Flynn and Son Funeral Homes is committed to helping our community and started this program to encourage contributions to the many local and national charitable organizations that so desperately need help continuing their worthwhile efforts helping so many people with so many different needs. We feel that all of these organizations deserve recognition for the work they do and hope that these contributions will help them accomplish their goal.
